Project Engineer
Offshore Renewables
As Project Engineer Offshore Renewables you will be involved in the projects from beginning to end. This includes project preparation, including planning, design, fabrication and eventually the project execution both onshore and offshore. Projects vary from operational follow-up of walk-to-work systems, WTG foundation installation offshore acoustic monitoring, subsea cables services, survey or scour protections works. Offshore Project Engineers report to Project Manager.

Being responsible for the preparation and execution of projects;
Prepare and execute vessel mobilizations with project equipment world wide;
Developing (technical) procedures tailored to specific project and product needs;
When on site, optimizing and implementing the technical procedures in practice safeguarding highest quality and safety standards;
Improve product system workings for more efficient working;
Organize and execute product inspections;
Data analysis and reporting;
Set-up supply chain of required parts and services, including spare part management;
Set procurement process and source high quality supplier and service providers; and
Budget control and progress reporting towards management;

Bachelor or Master degree in electro-mechanical, civil, offshore, bio and or marine engineering;
Min. of five years of relevant work experience within offshore and marine and services and or construction projects;
Preferably several years of project management experience;
Strong analytical and technical skills in fields of mechanics and electronics;
Good communication and reporting skills;
Fluent in verbal and written English;
Flexible and willing to travel; and
Pro-active and independent.

Project Engineer
Technical Department
As Project Engineer you will ensure that the offshore assets managed by BMS OFFSHORE are in excellent state, so they operate effectively worldwide. Manage several assets, provide both technical- and operational advice, equipment information and support for the crew.

Coordinating site operations, multiple technical maintenance, and repair works.
Verifying reports, repair lists and request forms.
Keep an overview on the works executed and those still to be executed.
Preparing repair and renovation projects.
Responsible for the realization of a mobilization or demobilization.
Keep an eye on stock management.
Contacting local subcontractors.
Ensure respect for safety, quality, and environment.
Follow-up on required parts for main jobs (together with procurement) to aid with budget forecasting and in-time delivery for planned maintenance.
Keep the technical library up-to-date and communicate about new documentation/instructions.
Provide / Facilitate Asset Management trainings and audits.
DPR and crew administration.

You have a degree in Engineering or equivalent.
You are safety conscious and know how to translate this into the workplace.
Flexible and proactive attitude and keep an updated overview of budget and planning.
In-depth understanding of operations and processes
Proficiency in MS Office
Organizational and time-management skills
Ability to lead and inspire.
